This picture, being part of a series of six other pictures, emerged from the topic of the „5th Dimension" during the course of preparation for Documenta 7.
There was nothing new for me to discover on earth. I didn’t look for new ways in changing presentations of everyday life, nor did I seek a new belief, but instead I directed my gaze to the future. To the time that still lies ahead of us. That will come. Due to my change, a series of works, pictures, and manuscripts emerged. I thus attained new insights, enabling me to better keep track of things and to make better decisions in complicated everyday life.
